In Chitrakoot, the Payaswini Awaits Her BhagirathJust as Bhagiratha worshipped Lord Shiva to bring the Ganges down to Earth and redeem his ancestors, so too, in this Kali Yuga, people are awaiting a Bhagiratha to bring the Payaswini River all the way to Ramghat.

About half a mile from the ashram lives my old acquaintance and well-wisher, Gaya Prasad Gopal (now known as Gopal Bhai). We had only brief conversations over the phone, and I could never visit him.
